ANALISIS FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUHI KEBERHASILAN INSEMINASI BUATAN PADA PROGRAM SAPI KERBAU KOMODITAS ANDALAN NEGERI (SIKOMANDAN) DI KABUPATEN LIMA PULUH KOTA

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi faktor yang mempengaruhi keberhasilan Inseminasi Buatan di Kabupaten Lima Puluh Kota berdasarkan krakateristik peternak dan inseminator. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan April-Mei 2023 di Kabupaten Lima Puluh Kota, Sumatera Barat. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis deskriptif untuk data peternak dan untuk data inseminator dilakukan Uji independan T Test. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata Service Per Conception (S/C) ternak di Kabupaten Lima Puluh Kota adalah 1,85. Faktor peternak ditemukan 65,98% berada pada usia produktif, 75,26% peternak telah beternak lebih dari 10 tahun, 40,21% peternak merupakan tematan SLTA, dan 49,48% peternak telah melakukan manajemen reproduksi dengan baik. Kriteria penilaian inseminator ditemukan masa kerja, kemampuan manajemen straw, pemahaman tentang organ reproduksi, ketersediaan sarana dan prasarana, sanitasi alat dan perlengkapan, dan pelaporan peternak memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan (p>0,05) terhadap keberhasilan Inseminasi Buatan di Kabupaten Lima Puluh Kota, dan jarak ke wilayah/lokasi kerja ditemukan tidak memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan (p>0,05) terhadap keberhasilan Inseminasi Buatan di Kabupaten Lima Puluh Kota.
