HISTOMORFOMETRI USUS HALUS BROILER DENGAN SUPLEMENTASI VITAMIN E, SELENIUM DAN ZINC DALAM AIR MINUM
Histomorphometry of Broiler Small Intestine with Supplementation of Vitamin E, Selenium, and Zinc in Drinking Water

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh suplementasi Vitamin E, Selenium dan Zinc dalam air minum terhadap berbagai parameter histomorfometri usus halus broiler. Penelitian dilaksanakan selama 30 hari (Juni-Juli 2021) di unit peternakan broiler di Desa Adimulyo, Gading Rejo, Pesawaran, Lampung. Penelitian ini bersifat eksperimental menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap, 5 kelompok perlakuan dengan 5 ulangan setiap kelompok. Setiap ulangan terdiri dari 5 ekor broiler, sehingga total 125 ekor broiler. Suplementasi Vitamin E, Selenium dan Zinc pada air minum dengan 5 perlakuan dosis berbeda yaitu air minum tanpa Vitamin E, Selenium dan Zinc (P0); air minum yang mengandung Vitamin E, Selenium dan Zinc dengan dosis 0,5 g/30 kg BB/hari (P1); 1 gr/30 kg BB/hari (P2); 1,5 g/30 kg BB/hari (P3); dan 2 g/30 kg BB/hari (P4), tiap gramnya mengandung Vitamin E 40 IU, Selenium 0,4 mg dan Zinc 160 mg. Lima ekor ayam broiler per kelompok diambil secara acak dan dilakukan nekropsi pada umur 31 hari, diambil sampel usus halusnya, difiksasi dengan formalin 10% dan dibuat preparat histologi di Balai Veteriner Lampung. Pengamatan menggunakan Mikroskop Binokuler Leica DM500® yang terhubung dengan layar dan komputer untuk menghitung berbagai parameter histomorfometri pada usus halus broiler. Data hasil pengukuran rata-rata dianalisis menggunakan one way ANOVA yang dilanjutkan dengan uji Tukey. Hasil penelitian yaitu P3 mempunyai pengaruh yang signifikan (P<0,05) terhadap peningkatan ukuran kedalaman kripta duodenum; P2 berpengaruh nyata (P<0,05) terhadap peningkatan ukuran lebar apex vili ileum; P1 berpengaruh signifikan (P<0,05) terhadap peningkatan kedalaman kripta ileum. Kesimpulan penelitian ini bahwa suplementasi Vitamin E, Selenium dan Zinc pada air minum dapat meningkatkan ukuran kedalaman kripta duodenum dan ileum serta lebar vili apex ileum broiler.
