EVALUASI TITER ANTIBODI NEWCASTLE DISEASE DAN AVIAN INFLUENZA PADA BROILER YANG DISUPLEMENTASI VITAMIN E, SELENIUM, DAN ZINC MELALUI AIR MINUM
Evaluation of Newcastle Disease and Avian Influenza Antibody Titers in Broilers Supplemented with Vitamin E, Selenium, and Zinc via Drinking Water

Ayam broiler adalah ras pedaging berperan dalam pemenuhan kebutuhan protein hewani menuju pemenuhan capaian Asta Cita Pemerintah RI dalam kemandirian pangan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengevaluasi titer antibodi Newcaslte Disease dan Avian Influenza broiler dengan suplementasi premix yang mengandung Vitamin E (Vit E), Selenium (Se) dan Zinc (Zn) yang dilarutkan dalam air minum sebagai immunomodulator. Penelitian menggunakan RAL dengan lima perlakuan dan lima ulangan. Setiap ulangan terdiri dari lima ekor broiler strain Cobb CP 707 dengan total 125 ekor. Tiap gram premix mengandung 40 IU Vit E, 0,4 mg Se dan 160 mg Zn. Perlakuan penelitian yaitu P0: air minum tanpa Vit E, Se dan Zn; P1: air minum dengan 20 IU Vit E, 0,2 mg Se, 80 mg Zn; P2: 40 IU Vit E, 0,4 mg Se, 160 mg Zn; P3: 60 IU Vit E, 0,6 mg Se, 240 mg Zn; P4: 80 IU Vit E, 0,8 mg Se, 320 mg Zn. Koleksi serum dari vena brachialis pada umur 31 hari. Evaluasi titer antibodi ND dan AI menggunakan uji HA/HI. Data disajikan dalam tabulasi dan grafik dianalisis statistik one-way ANOVA, jika berpengaruh signifikan (P<0,05) dilanjutkan uji LSD menggunakan SPSS 24. Kesimpulan penelitian bahwa dosis suplementasi Vitamin E 40 IU, Selenium 0,4 mg, dan Zinc 160 mg yang dilarutkan dalam air minum sesuai kebutuhan harian broiler mampu meningkatkan titer antibodi Newcastle Disease pada tingkat protektif. Diperlukan penelitian lebih lanjut terkait suplementasi vitamin E, selenium (Se), dan zinc (Zn) dalam air minum dengan perlakuan vaksinasi ulangan terhadap Avian Influenza.
